Communication is a vital part of playing Rust in our community. To create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

  • Use Polite and Respectful Language

Treat all players with respect. Avoid using offensive language, insults, or derogatory remarks, whether in text chat or voice chat.

  • Avoid Harassment and Creating Conflict

Refrain from actions or words intended to provoke, harass, or unnecessarily upset other players. Unconstructive arguments, message spamming, or disruptive loud noises are considered inappropriate behavior.

  • Maintain a Friendly Atmosphere

Although Rust is a highly competitive game, we still encourage players to have positive interactions with each other. Feel free to chat, exchange information, or assist each other as appropriate.

  • Out-of-Game Communication

These communication rules and guidelines also apply to out-of-game communication channels related to our server community (e.g., Discord or various groups set up for this server). Please maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere just as you would in in-game communication.

  • Reporting Communication Issues

If you encounter inappropriate communication, harassment, or disruption, please use the reporting system or contact the staff with evidence.

Failure to comply with this communication policy may result in penalties, ranging from a warning or temporary mute to a server ban, depending on the severity and behavior.

Please note that we reserve the right to not be responsible for any speech or actions that occur between players themselves.

Appeal

If you believe you have been penalized (e.g., banned) incorrectly or unfairly, you can submit an appeal here for the team to review.
